Bvlgari launched the BVLGARI BVLGARI watch in 1975, on the wave of the huge success. At the first time as a limited edition with hemp cord strap engraved with the inscription “BVLGARI ROMA” on the bezel. In fact, only Bvlgari top 100 clients received this watch as a Christmas present in that year. But, in 1977, Bvlgari launched another limited edition watch in yellow gold. At that time it was exclusively available at the boutique in Rome. As a matter of fact, BVLGARI ROMA model led to the launch of the BVLGARI BVLGARI watch, one of the most iconic designs in the history of horology.

This new timepiece was not advertised but the buzz generated by word of mouth spread rapidly and attracted more and more clients to the Condotti store.
